Mr. Joron joined Canada Post in 2011 after several years as a senior executive in international human resources, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions and organizational and leadership development. Mr. Joron also has extensive industrial relations experience, having worked with national and international unions in North America and globally.

Mr. Joron was most recently Senior Vice-President, Human Resources for St. Lawrence Cement. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice-President, Human Resources, Noranda Inc./Falconbridge Ltd. He also worked for Hudson’s Bay Company for 20 years in increasingly responsible roles, including Vice-President, Human Resources.

Mr. Joron has been a member of the Society for Human Resources Management, the Mining Association of Canada and the Conference Board of Canada’s National Human Resources Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the Université de Montréal, and is fluently bilingual. He is married to Lyse and has one daughter.
